First, we went to eat lunch at Granddad and Dad's favorite burger joint - Dirty Martin's Place. After a nap, we opened presents and Caroline got some neat clothes and new toys. Pee Wee would be jealous of all that Caroline has to play with!
After Caroline went to bed, the four adults ate tamales and chili and almost rang in the new year, but fell asleep a few minutes short.
We had a big breakfast on New Years Day, watched the Rose Parade (which Mom and Dad promise to take Caroline to someday - they've been and it's fun), watched football and napped. Most of all, we thank Grandmommie and Granddad for coming in.
(Side note: Dad says mess with Sasquatch. Jack Links beef jerky is great!)
