Butterfly House

The State Fair not only had great exhibits, food and animals but it also had a butterfly house!!! Caroline was so excited to go in and see all of the beautiful butterflies. Mom even enjoyed herself as well. The main butterfly room was about 85 degrees with about 80% humidity since most of the butterflies there were from rainforests. It was tough to get pictures with the butterflies, but we managed to catch a few on film. Look closely at the pictures below.

I'm pretty sure you're NOT supposed to catch the butterflies but Caroline snatched this one up before we knew what was happening. At that point, we had to get a picture since she was grinning from ear to ear.

DaDa bent the stem of one of the trees over so we could get a close look at this beauty.

After the butterfly room, it was time for face painting. Needless to say, Caroline wanted a butterfly and chose yellow and purple for the colors.

Here's the finished product... incredible!

Then it was time to make our way outside to the butterfly garden to see all of the beautiful Monarchs. Of course Caroline caught another one! They may not ever let us back, but we had a blast.
