Meet Nina

Caroline's great aunt Kathy was kind enough to send her a special package in the mail. Momma was expecting it so she told Caroline that it might be there when we got home from school one afternoon. Momma didn't know for sure, but she needed something to distract Caroline from the 45 minute commute home and that seemed to do the trick.

As soon as Momma found a box in the mail, Caroline started jumping up and down saying, "CAT, CAT, CAT!!!" over and over again. Momma reassured her that it was NOT a cat so she wouldn't be dissapointed. As Momma tore open the box and peeked inside, she laughed out loud when she saw our newest cat. We're not sure how Caroline 'knew' but she was right on target. This is Nina and she is a Fur Real Pet. She purrs, meows, wags her tail and opens/closes her eyes. Caroline loves her. Thank you Aunt Kita!

This is right after she got her. Caroline immediately took her into her chair and cuddled her.

Then she laid next to her in the chair.

She let Nina give Dixie a kiss.

Then Caroline gave Dixie and Nina a hug before bed.
