Like Mother, Like Daughter

Anyone that knows Caroline's mom knows that she loves cats...always has. Well, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Mom, Dad and Caroline drove to Marble Falls on Saturday to visit Sweet Berry Farms. We went to pick (and eat) strawberries as well as see the goats, horses and donkeys. Caroline only had eyes for the barn cats there. Check her out.

This was the first cat we saw.

Then came the young, skinny version of our cat Dixie. FYI...Caroline's mom is NOT very smart because she thought it would be a good idea to hold this little black cat later. She was really sweet when we pet her, but as it turns out...she did NOT want to be held. In her haste to jump out of Mom's arms, she scratched her neck pretty nicely.

Sweet kitty...

I love seeing how happy she is when she's around animals...I mean, cats. She hasn't really taken to other animals much yet.
