Balloons

Caroline started getting sick a few days before her birthday party and didn't start feeling better until the Monday following her party. Because she felt so terrible, we were a little nervous about how the party would go. We started the morning of her party by inflating what seemed like hundreds of balloons.

Here Caroline is being a big helper and sorting balloons for Momma.

The sorting got old so she just dumped them out all over the floor.

It's tough to see it, but here she's trying to get her stuffed cat Digga to blow up a balloon. What great helpers they are!

Oh, and you'll notice that Caroline now has a mind of her own where clothes are concerned. She was supposed to wear a pink tulle skirt with her birthday shirt, but she wouldn't let me put it on her. She ended up just wearing her diaper cover all day.
