Happy Thanksgiving & Christmas Wishes

Caroline celebrated her first Thanksgiving yesterday and had a big time. On Wednesday, Grandma Dee and Paw Paw came in from Allen. Thursday morning, she went for a walk with Paw Paw while Mom fixed dinner. Once Uncle Darin arrived, we ate a honey-baked ham, green beans and new potatoes, corn casserole, pink salad, rolls and some yummy coconut cream pie.




Then, we settled in for a nap and some football on TV. About 5 p.m., we loaded up and headed down for the annual Texas-Texas A&M football game. Caroline was, as usual, the best looking person in the humid stadium. And it's amazing how she can't sleep in the peace and quiet at home, yet when 98,000+ are going crazy, it's light out.




Caroline now looks ahead to Santa coming to town in a few weeks. Her wish is an all-expense paid vacation to South Beach on January 8 and a Longhorns win. Mom and Dad have already worked a deal with Santa.
